CEBC Showcasing B.C.’s Clean Energy & Tech Leadership at Web Summit Vancouver
March 25, 2026
The Clean Energy Association of British Columbia (CEBC) is proud to partner with the Ministry of Jobs and Economic Growth and Innovate BC to showcase the province’s global leadership in clean energy and technology at the B.C. Pavilion during Web Summit Vancouver.
From May 11-14, the Vancouver Convention Centre will host thousands of international investors and tech leaders. CEBC is proud to champion the integration of B.C.’s abundant renewable resources with world-class innovation by convening two high-impact panels focused on the future of our grid and the strength of our partnerships:
Innovation in Indigenous Microgrids & Energy Sovereignty: Exploring how Indigenous-led projects are defining the next generation of energy independence.
Resilient Clean Energy Projects: Preparing B.C.’s Grid for Climate Extremes: Addressing the critical technologies and infrastructure required to fortify our clean energy systems against a changing climate.
“British Columbia is home to a growing ecosystem of innovators developing practical clean technology solutions,” said n̓aasquʔisʔatḥ Stephen Rayner, Board Chair of the Clean Energy Association of British Columbia. “Initiatives at Web Summit Vancouver like Innovate BC’s Venture Spotlight are helping bring forward companies that are tackling real challenges while creating economic opportunity. It reflects the strength of the province’s innovation community and the leadership, skills, and collaboration that are helping position B.C. as a global centre for clean technology.”
Stephen Rayner will also be sharing his expertise as a speaker on the Indigenous Microgrids & Energy Sovereignty panel.
Jack Magnus, Director of Engagement and Operations, will be on-site representing CEBC throughout the summit. We invite all attendees to visit the CEBC booth at the B.C. Pavilion to discuss how B.C. is leading the charge toward a sustainable, resilient energy future.
