IESO GTA West Regional Electricity Planning

Regional electricity planning has advanced for the GTA West electrical region. Regional planning ensures a reliable supply of electricity to support local growth and economic development. Your input will inform this important work. The GTA West electrical region generally encompasses the municipalities of Brampton, Caledon, Mississauga, Halton Hills, Milton, Oakville, and Burlington, and the regional municipalities of Halton and Peel. 

On August 20 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the IESO will host a webinar to review the electricity needs for the GTA West Region and seek your early feedback on the options analysis underway to address these needs.
