Call for Papers: 2026 EDIST Conference & Trade Show
January 20–22, 2026
Harbour Castle Conference Centre, Toronto
EDIST Conference & Exhibition is growing! Since 2004, it’s been a must-attend event in the electricity distribution sector—and 2026 will be EDA’s biggest and best yet. With a new waterfront venue and an expanded program, the event offers more exhibitors, more sessions, and more innovation than ever before.
This year’s theme:
Powering Growth: Building the Energy System of the Future
As North America navigates the complexities of the energy transition, local distribution companies (LDCs) are emerging as critical enablers of progress. Positioned at the intersection of communities, customers, and the broader grid, LDCs are driving investment in smarter infrastructure, enabling the integration of distributed energy resources, and supporting electrification across sectors. This theme explores how LDCs are not only responding to rising energy demands but actively shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and innovative energy system—one that powers economic growth while advancing decarbonization goals.
With 53 speaker sessions across 5 focused streams, EDIST 2026 is your chance to share expertise, showcase innovation, and shape the future of our industry.
