April 23, 2025
Hatch has been named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for the ninth year in a row by Mediacorp Canada Inc.’s Top 100 Employers project. Now in its 18th year, this platform spotlights employers who are creating a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations through innovative, sustainable practices and are attracting new stakeholders because of their environmental leadership. The criteria for evaluation include:

- Unique environmental initiatives and programs the organizations have developed
- Success in reducing their own environmental footprint
- Levels of employee involvement in these programs and contribution of unique skills
- Extent to which these initiatives have become linked to the employer’s public identity, attracting new employees and clients to the organization
“With sustainability at our core, we have prioritized leveraging a scientific, evidence-based approach to develop solutions aimed at reducing the release and presence of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere and adapting our built and natural environments for climate change impacts,” the company said on its website.
“Our commitment to sustainability is not just a corporate responsibility; it’s a fundamental part of who we are and how we operate. When it comes to issues such as climate change and decarbonization, we view ourselves as stewards of the world in which we live and work. Although there is still a long way to go to achieve the ambitious goals we have set, we believe that our environmental ethics, coupled with our unmatched experience and expertise in multiple sectors, will lead to unprecedented outcomes. Thanks to this recognition from MediaCorp, we are more inspired than ever to continue championing the pursuit of a better, greener world.
Beyond the sustainability initiatives implemented on behalf of our clients and partners, as a team, we ensure that we take crucial steps to protect our environment. Some of these efforts include reducing waste by recycling and diverting as much as we can away from landfills, eliminating the use of single-use plastics in offices across the country, installing electric vehicle charging stations, and establishing a carpooling platform that connects employees within the same areas.”
