Northern Transformer Recognized in the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce 2026 Future of Energy Report

Northern Transformer is proud to be recognized in the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Future of Energy Report as part of Ontario’s nuclear supply chain supporting major energy infrastructure projects.
Beyond this recognition, the report highlights several priorities that are shaping Ontario’s energy future, including the need to strengthen domestic transformer manufacturing, improve equipment availability, modernize the grid, and accelerate transmission infrastructure investment. The report also recommends enabling utilities to maintain strategic inventory and explore collaborative procurement models to reduce project delays and support system reliability.
As electricity demand continues to grow across Ontario, reliable access to critical electrical equipment and a resilient domestic supply chain will be essential to supporting electrification, economic growth, and energy security.
