GENERATE 2024: May 23-24

GENERATE is an annual conference hosted by Clean Energy BC. This two-day conference + trade show is attended by industry professionals, project developers, suppliers, operators, policy designers, innovators, First Nations and academics.

As a signature event, GENERATE has run for 20 years and features a dynamic exhibitor hall, plenary sessions on cutting-edge topics, a keynote luncheon, an industry awards presentation and networking opportunities with the industry’s top experts on the trade show floor. The Call for Power, and ongoing commitment from Premier Eby, Minister Osborne and BC Hydro for subsequent calls has generated sustainable momentum for our industry.

In addition, BC Hydro’s 50% increase in their 10-year Capital Plan reflects the growing demand for electricity across several sectors of B.C.’s economy, supports climate targets and attracts investment to the province.  Panel topics at this year’s GENERATE conference include Indigenous procurement, permitting and the bidding process, supply chain, energy storage, and jobs in the clean economy. There will also be an industry awards presentation including a  scholarship award, and a student poster competition. 

GENERATE is BC’s largest clean energy conference and is a must-attend event for clean energy  professionals interested in the BC market.
