Standard Accessories and Features:
The transformers come equipped with several standard accessories and features. An engraved aluminum nameplate is included for easy identification. For safety, a pressure relief device is installed. The units are fitted with both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) bushings. Provision for mounting surge arresters is included as a standard feature. A grounding bracket is also provided for proper grounding of the transformer. The exterior finish of the transformer conforms to ANSI C57.12.28 standards, ensuring durability and protection against environmental factors.
Optional Accessories and Features:
Customers have the option to customize their transformers with various additional features. The manufacturer can install surge arrester mounting brackets, with hardware to be specified by the purchaser. Different types of low voltage terminals are available, including clamp type, stud type, or spade type bushings, with the option for up to four low voltage terminals. High voltage off-circuit taps can be added for voltage adjustment. For additional protection, a tank bottom rim protector can be installed.
Further customization options include additional tests in accordance with ANSI/IEEE C57.12.90 standards, and permanent or temporary bar coding labels compliant with ANSI/IEEE C57.12.35. A H2 bronze clamp type grounding connector suitable for various AWG conductor sizes is also available. Customers can specify impedance limits and maximum mass requirements.
For enhanced environmental friendliness, FR3 fire-resistant biodegradable insulating fluid (LNAN) can be used. Custom stock codes and stenciling can be applied as per customer request. A non-resettable device that detects internal transformer faults, incorporates pressure relief, and provides an external indication visible from the ground can be added for improved safety and monitoring. Lastly, alternative protection devices can be incorporated as specified by the purchaser.
