FLO Achieves Major Cybersecurity SOC 2 Type 2 Certification
November 12, 2024
FLO demonstrated its continued unwavering commitment to stringent information security by earning Systems and Organization Control SOC 2 Type 2 certification. The third-party certification, which follows a comprehensive independent audit of FLO’s security infrastructure, recognizes FLO’s focus on network security and privacy.
“FLO selected SOC 2 Type 2 certification as our cybersecurity framework because it’s independently audited and aligns with key industry best practices, reinforcing our commitment to both our customer and EV drivers,” said Philippe Langlois, FLO Senior Information Security Manager. “This certification isn’t just a checkbox for us — it’s proof that FLO prioritizes security at every level, ensuring the trust and safety of everyone who uses our network and products.”
SOC 2 Type 2 covers a wide range of security controls and supports operational effectiveness over time. It evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of controls over a period of a year, rather than at a single point in time, helping provide a comprehensive view of an organization’s evolving security posture over time. To maintain, SOC2 Type 2 certification, FLO will recertify each year.
FLO was certified SOC 2 Type 1 earlier this year, following a comprehensive security audit conducted by BARR Advisory, a leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions specializing in cybersecurity consulting.
