March 25, 2026

Jeffery Moyle, CEO of Rexel Canada announced on LinkedIn that Matthew Jackson has been appointed General Manager of Rexel Utility, effective April 15th, 2026. He succeeds Mark Semchuk and will report directly to Moyle. Matt will be based at the Lineman’s Testing Laboratories of Canada facility in Etobicoke, Ontario, where he will lead Rexel Utility, Lineman’s Testing Laboratories and Talley Canada.

“Matt brings strong operational experience to this role. Most recently he served as Divisional Operations Manager at Nedco and previously held roles at Walmart and Loblaws Inc. He is a proven leader in business processes, supply chain management and operations. His commitment to operational excellence and to improving customer experience has been a tremendous asset to our organization, and I am confident he will bring the same drive and strategic vision to Rexel Utility,” Moyle said.

“I also want to thank Mark Semchuk for his foundational work. Mark played a pivotal role in integrating the Wesco Utility business following our 2021 acquisition, bringing in more than 60 employees and four branches into the Rexel family—and helped establish our national utility strategy. His leadership over the past five years has strengthened our footprint and product offering. We are grateful for his contributions and wish him the very best.”

“Looking ahead, the utility sector remains a core pillar of Rexel Canada’s growth. With Matt at the helm, we are well positioned to build on the momentum to deliver greater value to our utility contractor customers and public power municipalities across the country.

“Please join me in congratulating Matt and supporting him as he leads Rexel Utility into its next chapter!”
