As part of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy, Nova Scotia Power is focused on supporting programs and initiatives that help remove barriers to education for equity-deserving communities in the province and to support development of a diverse talent pool for our high demand roles.

“Through our annual scholarship and bursary program, we continue to be inspired by the talent and community-focus of our future leaders and innovators,” says Human Resources Vice President Caroline Blair-Smith. “We’re committed to supporting programs and initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion, equity and diversity, help remove barriers, and advance education and economic opportunity in Nova Scotian communities.”

For over 60 years, Nova Scotia Power has been pleased to offer scholarships annually to students seeking post-secondary education in a variety of programs across the province.

There are 20 scholarships and eight bursaries available (28 total) each year to qualifying students enrolled in trades and degree programs.
