Design Capacities:

The transformers are designed with capacities ranging from 75kVA up to 3000kVA. They can accommodate primary voltages of up to 34.5kV and secondary voltages starting from 120Y/208. These units are configurable for either loop or radial feed configurations. Each transformer is built to customer specifications in accordance with CSA C227.4 and C802.1 Energy Efficiency Standards.

Standard Accessories and Features:

These transformers come equipped with a range of standard features. They include a tamper-proof tank design with a bolted cover, Bay-o-net and current limiting fuse protection, and an engraved aluminum nameplate. Safety features such as a pressure relief device and ground bar with X0 strap are also included. For monitoring purposes, the units are fitted with a liquid level indicator and thermometer. The transformers also feature HV & LV bushings, a drain valve with sampling device, parking stand, and jacking steps. The exterior finish conforms to ANSI C57.12.28 standards.

Optional Accessories and Features:

Customers can customize their transformers with a variety of optional features. These include load break switches and inserts, mechanical interlocks for safety, and dual voltage selector switches. Additional options encompass high voltage circuit taps, surge arrestor elbows, and customer-specific stock codes and stenciling. For enhanced protection, options such as high voltage and low voltage barriers between compartments, Kirk key interlocks on cabinet doors, and secondary breakers are available. Customers can also request additional tests in accordance with ANSI/IEEE C57.12.90 standards. Other options include permanent and temporary bar coding labels, FR3 fire-resistant biodegradable insulating fluid (LNAN), visual disconnect windows with Kirk Key Interlocking protection, and alternative protection devices as specified by the purchaser.
