IESO Engaging on their Next Long-Term RFP

The IESO is engaging on the next proposed Long-Term procurement, the Long-Term 2 Request for Proposals (LT2 RFP). This procurement is part of the IESO’s broader Resource Adequacy Framework – an enduring approach to identifying the type of acquisition activity to use to resolve system needs. The framework contemplates a multi-pronged approach to secure resources, generally based on the length of the contract term.
The Long-Term RFP engagement plan outlines the objectives, approach, timeline and considerations for engaging stakeholders and conducting outreach to other targeted audiences throughout the development of the LT2 RFP.
