IESO Looking for New Strategic Advisory Committee Members

The IESO is looking for new members to join the Strategic Advisory Committee (SAC) to provide sound advice on the future of Ontario’s electricity sector.

The SAC reports directly to the IESO’s leadership to address a number of challenges facing the sector, including the urgency and timing of new resources, the efficient use of existing resources, grid modernization and the increasing role of Indigenous communities and municipalities.

Members of the SAC are appointed by the IESO’s Board of Directors to provide strategic policy-level recommendations. They represent the interests of generators, distributors, transmitters, businesses and communities in the context of market development, conservation and planning.
