| Proposals for New Brunswick-based Research Wanted for Emerging Concepts & Technologies Research Program Eight priority research themes have been selected for New Brunswick, focusing research and development efforts on solutions relevant to local sectors and challenges. The grant program covers two streams of R&D – novel and adapted streams – with the aims of providing GHG emissions reduction solutions to key sectors and propelling economic development through innovation. |

ECT-NB Has 13 Projects Currently Underway

The Emerging Concepts and Technologies Research Program has two active open calls underway. Each has its own set of key dates for applicants.
ECT-NB Key Dates
- September 19 to October 6 – applicant preparations and consultation bookings with ECT team.
- October 6 – Call opens and the formal question period begins.
- November 3 – Question period ends.
- November 10 – Call for submissions closes.
ECT-NS Key Dates
- August 19 to September 28 – applicant preparations and consultation bookings with ECT team.
- September 29 – Call for submissions opens and formal question period begins.
- October 24 – Question period ends.
- November 3 – Call for submissions closes.
